The standoff over entry of women to the Sabarimala shrine continues. The Travancore Devaswom board meeting of stakeholders of the shrine including the Tantri family, Pandalam royals and Ayyappa Seva Sangam failed to resolve the Sabarimala impasse. Ayyappa devotees camping at the Nilakkal base stopped women from proceeding further to Pamba. It now remains to be seen how the controversy will unravel tomorrow as the gates to the temple open for women of all ages...
